The last day of our transition class was March 28, 2004.  We had a decent day on a hay field in the Valley.  Spring hadn't sprung yet though.  Click on any thumbnail to see it full size.

Apologies to Cole if I'm wrong but I think this is Deb Stiles with her husband's dog Riley

Deb lining up for a blind under the eye of coach Harry Strahle and Dan Oyster.

Running the blind

Harry and Deb rehashing the blind

Harry and Velvet concentrate

Harry is calling for the go bird.  If you look closely you can see the gunner just to the left of Velvet's ear still in a throwing motion.  I think I even see the duck in the air.

Jim Porch running.  Dave Baty, Dan Oyster, and Harry Strahle planning the next series or something.

Raider is just off on his way.

Done with the blind and Raider tells us what he thinks of the whole thing.

Harry Strahle and Dave Baty put on this class for the last almost 3 months.  We gave them each a gift certificate to the Double Muskie in Girdwood.

The training class is done and Dave looks hot and tired.  Icey could still go awhile though.
